ABOUT US
Born in Aviemore and working outdoors since leaving school, I worked as fishing guide on the River Spey for 13 years, before spending more than 15 years at Rothiemurchus Estate, helping develop the fishery and wildlife photography there from its concept, including working with Spingwatch during their Highland Wildlife filming and more recently a Highland wildlife programme for an Italian film company.
During the start up process of our business we watched Osprey fishing in the early morning for a full year before digging out a hide at a level and position that it is possible to get perfect reflection images, with Ospreys flying around in full view before they hide the water, please look at our gallery to see a small sample of the images taken over the summer months.
Having worked outdoors in the Aviemore area since leaving school I have an in depth knowledge of the wildlife in the local area. I have guided many award winning wildlife photographers in the Cairngorm National Park throughout the year.

Our primary hide is located in the heart of Aviemore here in the Cairngorm National Park. Aviemore is located 84 miles north of Perth and 30 miles south of Inverness. Aviemore is served by an excellent transport network with both bus and rail services stopping in the town on a daily basis.

We offer fully guided morning tours up to a maximum of 8 persons per session. Advanced booking is required for all sessions. Prices start at £130.00 per person. Due to the popularity of our tours we strongly recommend you book well in advance as availability is limited.
With the moderate climate, beautiful scenery and plentiful wildlife its no wonder why Vancouver Island has been rated as one of the best places in the world to photograph Killer Whales (orcas), Humpback Whales, Minkie Whales and much much more wildlife.
