LOCATION
The hides are located at Macdonald Aviemore resort in the middle of Aviemore, the entrance to the resort is opposite the Railway station and being the biggest hotel resort in Aviemore is well sign posted on the main road.
If you are traveling from the South
As you drive into Aviemore you will pass the only petrol station (24hr with a coffee machine) as you pass the petrol station take the first left up into the resort, at the top of the drive turn left and pass the car park of the Strathspey Hotel, carry on 50 yrds and you will see a small car park on the left where your guide will be waiting.
If you are traveling from the North.
Driving through Aviemore you will see the only Tesco store on your right, carry on and you will drive past the Cairngorm Hotel again on your right, take the first right past this hotel and drive up into the resort, at the top of the drive turn left and pass the car park of the Strathspey Hotel, carry on 50 yrds and you will see a small car park on the left where your guide will be waiting.
The Macdonald Aviemore resort offers accommodation in four different Hotels and Lodges that are a 5 minute walk to the hides, it also has a range of activities and Leisure facilities for photographers and non photographers during their stay so if you don't want to drive in the early morning or have have a glass of wine or a beer the evening before, please contact the resort booking staff.

If you are in Aviemore well before the meeting time the petrol station is open 24hr and sells coffee and sandwiches .
